Student Exchange Programs

Erasmus+ is the European Union's grant program covering the fields of education, youth, and sport, implemented between 2021 and 2027. The Erasmus+ Program aims to provide individuals with new skills, strengthen their personal development, and increase their employment opportunities, regardless of their age or educational background. The European Solidarity Corps (ESC), also implemented during the same period, is a European Union initiative that aims to address societal needs while encouraging the personal, educational, social, civic, and professional development of young people. It creates opportunities for them to volunteer, work, or engage in networking activities that benefit society, either in their own countries or abroad.

Operating as an affiliated institution of the Directorate for EU Affairs under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Turkish National Agency is the body responsible for the implementation of Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps programs in our country. It receives and evaluates project applications, manages the contracting process, allocates grants to successful applicants, and carries out the monitoring and auditing of these grants.

In this context, it is the sole authorized public institution responsible for the implementation of Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps programs in Türkiye and for ensuring the necessary coordination with the European Commission. In this regard, our higher education institutions are among the primary beneficiaries of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs.
